Our Apartment, Makiki, Hawai`i

Part of what lured us to The Bishop Museum was its monthly "Family Sunday" festival, with discounted admission, special exhibits, food and live music. This particular Sunday was also the culmination of a joint promotion with Meadow Gold, so we were surrounded by milk propaganda, and Katie and I even got our picture taken with some healthy vegetables. The dome in the background is the museum's small planetarium, which has always been incredibly cool. It is now the home of a brand new "star machine," and next on the museum's wish list is a bigger, million-dollar new dome to match.
