Wedding Rings Received November 6, 1997

My father gave me these wedding rings as my birthday present in 1997, two weeks before Jen — then seven months pregnant with Katie — and I tied the knot. To say it was a surreal time would be an understatement. They are beautiful rings, though, and start many a conversation. They're Hawaiian in design, with deeply engraved Hibiscus flowers and other patterns. The 14 karat bands also originally had black enamel highlights, but over the years they've faded away.
