HD: Takeoff
Takeoff from hawaii on Vimeo. Departing Honolulu International Airport (HNL) aboard go! Airlines flight 1034, bound for Hilo (ITO). This short clip was recorded by special request from Zac, who loves watching my last go! Airlines video just for the takeoff sequence. Even though low clouds and a dirty window made things a little hazy this morning, I think it looks pretty good in 720p HD. The above is the embedded video player from Vimeo, one of the only online video hosts to serve up HD content. To see the HD video (and not a scaled and compressed Flash version), however, you need to view it at Vimeo or download the original movie file (1250x720/63MB/MP4). It should look great on an Apple TV. You can also watch this video at YouTube, Google Video, and BlipTV (low quality but fast playing). DivX lovers can find this video at Stage6 (in HD).
