Going Nuts
Click above to play the embedded video, or see below for more options.
The self-guided factory tour at the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut plantation on the Big Island of Hawaii. Though packed with machines, I was surprised how much work is still done by hand. Music is "Sol Naciente" from Vibrant by Cargo Cult (Magnatune). You can directly download the above Quicktime movie (.MOV) file or a larger version (320x240/56MB) here, courtesy the Internet Archive. For the iPod-optimized file (MP4/9MB) served up in the feed, click here.

What's up Ryan, good video
I really appreciated this movie, Ryan.
It was nice that the factory allows for tourists. Although I don't know if I would want to be a worker there having to deal with people gawking at me.
The power of editing comes through in your transition between the assembly to the boxes on the shelf.
Nice.
