Hilo
Dinner at a place called 1 Plus 1 Diner near the Hilo Walmart. This one
young girl was basically waitressing the whole place (two other ladies were
busy pretending to be busy and flapping their gums), the poor dear. We
tipped well but I doubt she was the one to pocket the cash.

For a nice cafe, you should try Sunlight Cafe in Hilo Shopping Center... nice atmosphere, big portions, and yummy!
