wow. a whole year almost. the thing about milestones like that is that sometimes when you think about them it seems like whatever it was happened yesterday and other times it seems like it's been much, much longer.
just recently I've started to really value good, solid relationships. you know, where the people in it are genuinely concerned with the other person and are growing together and are still in love after a really long time. wow, those are all supposed to be default qualities of a relationship -- kind of sad, in a way, that I find their presence in a relationship so noteworthy. anyway, even simply observing other people being that way makes me really happy. it's kind of nice to know that such couples, such relationships, do exist. I fear the concept of marriage because in so many cases all that "mushy and lovey" just die. so it's refreshing, to say the least, to hear that you guys are doing really well.
haven't talked to you in a long time, but I wanted to tell you that I'm really happy for you. you're very lucky, and the best part is that you don't need anyone to remind you of that.
