The "Original Walt Disney Records Soundtrack" to the film was released June 11. Mark Keali'i Ho'omalu is a former Honolulu hula teacher now living in Oakland, California, where he leads Na Mele Hula 'Ohana (founded in 1978 by Kumu Hula Bea Hew Len and her husband, Herbert). Another song he and the choir performed for the soundtrack is "He Mele No Lilo."
