Extra, Extra! At 9:23 AM, Jennifer Ozawa gave birth to a baby boy at the Kapiolani Women's and Children's Center in Honolulu. Ozawa baby born, mother resting HONOLULU (IMR) -- Add one more to the Ozawa clan. At 9:23 AM, Jennifer Ozawa gave birth to a baby boy at the Kapiolani Women's and Children's Center in Honolulu. Ryan, Jennifer's husband, said that she is sleeping after giving birth via ceasarian section. She was not available for comment at press time. "The baby is seven pounds five ounces and nineteen and a half inches long," Ozawa said. "He looks like what Katie looked like when she was born -- he has lots of hair." He also said Jennifer will be in the hospital for the next three days. Visiting hours are between 11:30 AM and 8:30 PM. After months of deliberation, the parents decided to name their son Zachary Masaru Kauanoe. Masaru has many meanings in Japanese, ranging from "kind" to "superior," depending on the Chinese characters used. The characters and meaning will be determined at a later date. In Hawaiian, Kauanoe means "gentle rain." Kauanoe is also the name of the University of Hawaii at Hilo dormitory Jennifer resided in when she lived in Hilo. —William Matsuda/Special to In Medias Res
