My mom's side of the family convened last week at Uncle Al's house to celebrate his birthday, as well as that of his eldest daughter Jennifer. Their birthdays are a day apart. Uncle Al cooked up a mean batch of kal-bi while Aunty Marge pulled together all the fixings (and then some).
